Two minutes of added time to end the game and Atletico are set for a fantastic win.

Viera seems desperate to get a goal today and he's perhaps unfortunate not to. This time, however, his effort is not putting Oblak under any pressure at all.

Penalty Las Palmas! Viera goes to ground under pressure from Thomas Partey and the referee points straight to the spot.
Saved by Jan Oblak! Viera stepped-up to take the spot-kick after winning the penalty but he can't beat the Slovenian goalkeeper, who palms the ball away with a strong left hand.
Penalty Save Jan Oblak

Atletico are retaining the ball well but Las Palmas are still showing strong flashes. The hosts certainly look like they have the ability to end their losing run in the fixtures ahead but they'll need to be stronger defensively than they have been today.
76'
Javi Castellano enters the game and replaces Momo.
Benito Ramírez enters the game and replaces Hernán.
Double change for Las Palmas following that goal. Javi Castellano comes on to replace Momo and Benito Ramirez replaces Trujillo.
Substitution Hernán Daniel Santana Trujillo Benito Ramírez del Toro
Koke has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Y. Carrasco.
That's the game! Yannick Carrasco does fantastically as he waves his way through the defence but he can't get a shot away. However, it loops into the air and falls nicely for Koke, who nets the best goal of the game with a superb bicycle kick. That should be the three points for Atletico and Simeone's 200th win.
Carrasco, who netted the second goal of the game, now has an assist following his work for Koke's second.
Assist Yannick Ferreira Carrasco
Goal Jorge Resurrección Merodio

Substitution Šime Vrsaljko Stefan Savić
69'
As you would expect, Las Palmas are throwing caution to the wind as they look to fight their way back into the match. It certainly looks like there could be more goals in this tie but at the moment it seems more likely that Atletico will extend their lead by catching the hosts on the break.

Credit to Atletico for a fantastic response. They kept controlled following their early lead and were happy to sit back. As soon as Las Palmas pulled one back, the side from the Spanish capital turned on the style once again.
Angel Correa makes way, having scored his second goal of the season today, and veteran striker Fernando Torres comes on to replace him.
62'
Jonathan Viera gets yellow.
Koke has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid!
Daylight again for Atletico! A fantastic strike from Koke leaves Leandro Chichizola stranded and Atletico have a two-goal advantage yet again. Unlike the first two goals, there was nothing Las Palmas could do to prevent that strike.
Yellow card Jonathan Viera Ramos
Goal Jorge Resurrección Merodio

The home fans are being extremely vocal with their protests to the referee as Calleri concedes a free-kick but it's clear the Argentine striker was pulling on Godin's shirt.
58'
J. Calleri has scored a goal for Las Palmas! Assist by Momo.
Momo's cross was excellent to find the head of Calleri, it's the first time we've really seen the winger get involved.
Las Palmas have sparked life into the game, as Calleri rises fantastically in the box to head home his first goal for the Spanish side. Godin was caught out of position and the fans are on the edge of their seats.
Assist Jerónimo Figueroa Cabrera
Goal Jonathan Calleri
57'
Diego Godin completes a fantastic sliding tackle to quell Las Palmas' attack, where Calleri looked set to be surging through on goal. Atletico immediately hit on the counter, with Carrasco driving an effort from distance over the bar.
55'
Gabi enters the game and replaces L. Vietto.
Substitution Luciano Vietto Gabriel Fernández Arenas
54'
First change of the game sees Atletico captain Gabi enter the game, with Luciano Vietto making way. Simeone's side will now be set-up with a five man midfield, as they aim to see out the game.
52'
The home fans are whistling once again as Vietto fouls Trujillo and Lemos looks set to try another ambitious effort. 28 metres from goal, his effort is too low this time and Oblak collects the ball with ease.
51'
Atletico are clearly content to soak up the danger and hit Las Palmas on the counter-attack, where Carrasco will prove to be a real threat charging down the left-hand side.
48'
A good charge for Las Palmas, led by Viera, gives the hosts a sight of goal. They're fortunate to keep the ball after a deflection but Calleri is offside when the ball comes through to the striker.
45'
Lemos tries his luck from distance but his curling shot doesn't dip enough to cause Oblak any trouble.
Las Palmas get us underway for the second-half and they'll need a much better performance if they're to get anything from his game.
44'
Vietto catches Viera's heel and concedes a free-kick, with the home fans jeering for a second-yellow card. The referee disagrees though and Mauricio Lemos, the free-kick specialists, prepares to test Oblak.
42'
Atletico Madrid are enjoying a nice passage of possession again and Vietto has another half-sight of goal, though he doesn't get the sort of touch required to send the ball towards goal.
39'
L. Vietto gets yellow.
Fabio González gets yellow.
Vietto is the first Atletico Madrid man in the book after tussling ahead of a corner but there's guilty parties on both sides.
Fabio Gonzalez is also booked by the referee, with both players pushing and shoving ahead of a set-piece that came to nothing.
Yellow card Luciano Vietto
Yellow card Fabio González Estupiñan
37'
Calleri has finally showed a flash of brilliance as he beats numerous players surging down the right. However, he can't quite find Viera in the middle- who goes head-to-head with Jose Gimenez after catching the Uruguayan defender late.
35'
Big chance for Atletico as Vrsaljko surges forward and plays a low cross into the area, which Vietto can't quite get on the end of following a superb defensive touch.
33'
Hernan, already on a yellow card, fouls Carrasco from behind and is perhaps fortunate to avoid a second yellow card.
30'
Very clinical from Atletico Madrid so far, as both of their shots on target have found the back of the net.
28'
Las Palmas have another half appeal for a penalty as Calleri falls to ground after trying to meet an aerial ball but the referee correctly waves around the protests. Viera, again showing himself to be the hosts' brightest asset, then fires a shot from distance over Oblak's net.
26'
Viera has been Las Palmas' brightest player in this first half but he can't do it all on his own. The home fans will certainly want to see more from striker Jonathan Calleri, as the former West Ham loanee has been a passenger so far.
24'
Pedro Bigas gets yellow.
Another yellow card for Las Palmas as Pedro Bigas, who pulls back Niguez.
Yellow card Pedro Bigas Rigo
23'
Las Palmas have finally forced a save out of Oblak, who dives late to parry Viera's curling shot away from the goal. The hosts are finding their rhythm though and are finally asking questions of Atletico's defensive line.
21'
Las Palmas have just had their most threatening charge forward of the match through David Simon but he can't beat Hernandez down the right-side.
18'
Momo concedes a free-kick a foul on Sime Vrsaljko, moments after Jonathan Viera has a penalty appeal waved away.
16'
Since the second goal, it's the hosts who have dominated possession. However, Simeone's back-line is well drilled and will be extremely difficult to break down.
14'
Hernán gets yellow.
First yellow card of the game goes to Trujillo who leads with his elbow in a challenge on Lucas Hernandez.
Yellow card Hernán Daniel Santana Trujillo
13'
Las Palmas have settled into the match now and are starting to push forward into the attacking third. They're retaining possession well but Atletico's defence has remained strong thus far, yet to truly be tested.
10'
A chance for Las Palmas to threaten Jan Oblak's goal for the first time, as Diego Godin fells Hernan Trujillo. However, Momo's delivery is easily collected by the young goalkeeper.
8'
Las Palmas are finally starting to see some of the ball but the damage has already been done. They've lost their last six LaLiga games, their worst record since 1960, and need a miracle to end that record this evening.
5'
Y. Carrasco has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid! Assist by Saúl.
2-0 already! What a thrilling start in Gran Canaria. Yannick Carrasco turns the defence twice before striking a slow shot into the same corner where Correa netted the opening goal. Las Palmas' defence is at sea and Diego Simeone looks on good course to secure his 200th win as Atletico Madrid coach.
Young starlet Saul Niguez gets the assist but, just like the first goal, all the credit must go to the goalscorer. Sensational play.
Assist Saúl Ñíguez Esclapez
Goal Yannick Ferreira Carrasco
3'
Á. Correa has scored a goal for Atletico Madrid!
Correa's strike-partner Luciano Vietto made the opportunity with a deft backheel but it was Correa who did all the work, leaving the defence dizzy with his twists and turns.
What a start! Atletico Madrid have dominated possession since kick-off and Angel Correa has given Diego Simeone's side a perfect start. He weaves his way through the defence before dispatching a low shot into the bottom right-hand scorer, netting his second goal of the season.

We're underway at the Estadio Gran Canaria! Atletico Madrid get us underway, kicking from right to left.
Diego Simeone, meanwhile, has reshuffled his Atletico Madrid deck by making five changes. Sime Vrsaljko, Diego Godin, Lucas Hernandez, Thomas Partey, Angel Correa and Luciano Vietto all make their first starts of the season. Juanfran, Stefan Savic, Antoine Griezmann, Fernando Torres, Augusto Fernandez and Moises Gomez drop out.
Las Palmas make four changes to the opening day with the aforementioned Alen Halilovic missing out through suspension. Momo, Hernan Trujillo, Fabio Gonzalez and Tana are the players who come in, replacing Ximo Navarro, Pedro Dominguez, Vitolo and Halilovic respectively.
Atletico Madrid Subs: Moya, Felipe Luis, Torres, Gabi, Savic, Juanfran, Gameiro
Las Palmas subs: Lizoain, Araujo, Macedo, Herrera, Castellano, Navarro, Ramirez
Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, drew 2-2 with newly-promoted Girona having trailed 2-0 at half-time. Diego Simeone's side were fortunate not to be further behind at the break and were fortunate to snatch a point in the second-half, courtesy of goals from Angel Correa and Jose Maria Gimenez. However, they did lost Antoine Griezmann to a red card.
Las Palmas suffered an opening day defeat to Valencia last weekend, losing 1-0 at the Mestella Stadium, and also lost Barcelona loanee Alen Halilovic to a red card in the first half. They'll therefore be looking to get their first points of the season this evening, although they'll face a very difficult task up against Diego Simeone's title contenders.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of Las Palmas v Atletico Madrid, the last fixture on LaLiga's second Saturday of the season and a game where there's plenty at stake following the opening day - where both sides will have been left disappointed by their opening weekend results.
No time added on at the end of the first-half and Atletico Madrid go into the break with a two-goal advantage following their early flurry, where Diego Simeone's side capitalised on lacklustre Las Palmas defending to strike twice in the opening five minutes. From there, Las Palmas have enjoyed plenty of time on the ball but are yet to carve a clear-cut opportunity.
Atletico Madrid won this fixture 5-0 last season, their biggest away win in LaLiga since defeating Real Zaragoza by the same scoreline 67 years ago. They look deadly in attack so could definitely score a few more goals in the second-half but they look relaxed on the ball and are happy to sit-back to defend their lead.
Las Palmas certainly need to be more threatening going forward and they've wasted several good opportunities by moving the ball too slowly and allowing Atletico to recover. Calleri needs to be brought into the game more, whilst the hosts also need to get more out of wide duo Tana and Momo.
Full-time! Diego Simeone has his 200th win as Atletico Madrid coach with a fantastic victory. Angel Correa and Yannick Carrasco got the visitors off to the ideal start by netting inside five minutes, though Jonathan Calleri pulled one back for Las Palmas just before the hour mark. Atletico soon responded though to restore a comfortable advantage with a brace from Koke, with Thomas Partey then sealing the result with a stunning strike.
Atletico Madrid get their first win of the season, taking their tally to four points from the opening two matches, and have put themselves in a good position ahead of the international break. Simeone's men will travel to Valencia next month before a trip to Rome in the Champions League, then hosting Malaga to open their new stadium.
Las Palmas, meanwhile, are yet to secure a point this season. It was always going to be a difficult task against Atletico Madrid but Manuel Márquez will certainly not be happy with his side's defensive performance. It doesn't get any easier for the minnows though as their upcoming fixtures include Malaga, Athletic Bilbao and Sevilla.
