Great work from Vazquez, who has kept his cool since moving over to right-back, as he does well to steward Ribery towards the touchline before robbing the 35-year-old of possession.
90' +1
The fourth official has indicated there will be a minimum of four minutes added time. Marcelo looks to be struggling with a knock, but the Brazilian will have to carry on for the remaining moments.
89'
Thiago Alcântara gets yellow.
Powerful play from Kovacic, who rushes through the heart of midfield before drawing a rugby tackle-esque foul from Thiago, who goes into the book.
88'
MISS! That was the chance for Bayern! Superb play from Tolisso, who turns and plays a wonderful throughball into the area. Lewandowski races onto the end of it, but can only loft his effort wide.
87'
Rafinha tries to force a long-range strike through a packed defence, but the full-back’s effort is blocked before it reaches Navas.
86'
Marcelo, for some reason, skews his clearance right back into the danger area. James manages to prod it back in the general direction of Lewandowski, but Ramos is well-placed to intervene.
83'
M. Kovačić enters the game and replaces Casemiro.
Another change for Madrid now. Casemiro, who is on a booking, makes way. Mateo Kovacic is on, and should add a bit of energy and bite to the visitors’ midfield.
82'
Clever play from Sule, who gets across to prevent Asensio getting on the ball down the left, placing himself ahead of the Madrid youngster before drawing a foul.
81'
Ribery has Vazquez pinned back, but for some reason decides to lump in an early cross rather than take on the makeshift full-back. Bayern seem to be running out of ideas now…
78'
Casemiro gets yellow.
Another booking now, with Casemiro having scythed down James around 30 yards out.

Description
76'
CHANCE! Benzema does well to spin his marker and get a shot off, but Ulreich is well-placed to make a good stop.
75'
C. Tolisso enters the game and replaces Javi Martínez.
Here’s a third and final switch from Heynckes. Corentin Tolisso is on for the hosts, replacing Javi Martinez!
71'
NO GOAL! Ronaldo has just hammered in a wonderful finish, but the referee immediately cancelled out the strike, with the Madrid man having controlled the ball using his arm.
70'
Madrid look totally unbalanced, with Vazquez playing out of position at full-back. However, they do have three forwards on the pitch, and present a huge threat on the counter.
69'
CLOSE! Ribery has been majestic so far tonight, and has just seen a goal-bound strike deflected inches wide of the upright.
68'
Huge appeals for a penalty from Bayern, as Muller is clattered into as he tries to thump home from point-blank range having missed his initial header. The referee rightly says no, though.
67'
K. Benzema enters the game and replaces Dani Carvajal.
Zidane is furious down on the touchline. The full-back has now gone down again, seemingly adamant that he wanted to stay on the pitch. But, the Spain international is now coming off. Karim Benzema will be his replacement, meaning Lucas Vazquez will switch to right-back.
65'
Well, Carvajal has carried on. Benzema was preparing to come on, but for some reason Carvajal has remained on the field.
64'
A real worry here for Madrid, with Carvajal down clutching his hamstring. It doesn’t look like he’ll be able to carry on.
63'
Ribery again! This time, the Bayern winger hammers a half-volley goalwards from a tight angle, but Navas makes the stop.
62'
Bayern are back on the front foot, but must remain cautious of the threat Madrid possess on the break. They have already been punctured once this half, and another blow could be the one that knocks them out.
59'
SAVE! Ribery nearly equalises! The veteran winger weaved his way through Madrid’s defence before letting rip with a low strike, but Navas gets down to make a fine stop.
57'
Marco Asensio has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Lucas Vázquez.
Vazquez did well to pick out Asensio, who sured maturity beyond his years to chip home and put Madrid in the driving seat.
GOOOOOAAAALLLL!! A dreadful mistake from Rafinha allows Madrid to counter - Vazquez charging forward before laying it off to Asensio, who makes no mistake with a wonderfully composed, delicate finish over Ulreich.
55'
Bayern break at pace, with a cross coming in from the right that Lewandowski meets with a header, but Ramos manages to divert it wide.
52'
F. Ribéry gets yellow.
Real Madrid substitutes: Gareth Bale, Kiko Casilla, Mateo Kovacic, Marco Asensio, Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez, Karim Benzema.
51'
CLOSE! Fantastic play from Ribery, who tricks his way past Casemiro before drilling a low cross into the six-yard box. Muller looks set to get on the end of it, but Madrid’s dance manage to bundle it clear.
47'
That’s poor from Ronaldo! The winger finds space down the left and cuts inside onto his stronger right foot, but he sends his effort way wide and out for a throw in!
46'
Marco Asensio enters the game and replaces Isco.
Welcome back! There has been a substitution for Madrid - Isco has made way for Marco Asensio.
45' +2
SO CLOSE! Lewandowski’s header finds its way all the way through a crowded defence and onto Muller’s chest, but the forward can’t turn it home from close range!
45' +1
CHANCE! Thiago’s cross is a good one, and Lewandowski rises highest to meet it. The Poland striker had to direct it either side of Madrid’s goalkeeper, but instead sends it straight Navas, who grasps it at the second attempt.
45'
There could be chance for Bayern, now, with Thiago standing over a set-piece 25 yards out…
44'
Marcelo has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Dani Carvajal.
Carvajal will get an assist for his efforts, but it was nothing more than a header into space that his fellow full-back made the most of in superb fashion.
GOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!! MARCELO LEVELS IT UP! What a strike that is from the full-back! Madrid have hardly been in this game in the last 20 minutes, yet Marcelo has just equalised with a spectacular half-volley from the edge of Bayern’s area.
42'
GREAT BLOCK! That's superb from Ramos, who manages to save his team at the last moment with a brilliant block to deny Muller, who had met Rafinha's cross on the volley.
41'
CLOSE! Lewandowski helps James’ cross on to the back post, where Hummels has raced onto it. However, the defender had run slightly ahead of the ball, and can only hook his volley over.
40'
Bayern are on top since their goal, but there has definitely been a lack of quality to the Bundesliga champions’ play at times. There could be a chance for that to change now, though, as Marcelo has to nudge Ribery’s cross out for a corner.
36'
Madrid look shocked here, and it is perhaps telling that Zidane has already sent Asensio out to warm up down the touchline. It remains just 1-0 to Bayern, however.
34'
N. Süle enters the game and replaces J. Boateng.
CHANCE! Just after Niklas Sule comes on for the injured Jerome Boating, Ribery is presented with the ball 20 yards out. The Frenchman is one-on-one with Navas, but gets his touch all wrong, and the Costa Rica goalkeeper rushes out to make the save.
33'
Well, it looks as though Heynckes is going to be forced into a second change, with Sule getting ready on the bench. Play continues, meanwhile, with Ribery floating in what should have been a harmless cross, but Navas makes a meal of it by diving out and punching it clear. Madrid’s goalkeeper lacks any composure at the minute.
32'
Boateng charges out from the defence and manages to force Marcelo forcing it into the path of Lewandowski, who does well to keep the move alive. However, the ball is soon kicked out of play to allow Bayern’s centre-back to receive some treatment, as he appears to have overstretched.
30'
Zidane will be furious. His side were just starting to mount an attacking threat and, due to slack defending and poor goalkeeping, now find themselves chasing the game.
28'
J. Kimmich has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by J. Rodríguez.
GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!! THAT IS OUTSTANDING FROM KIMMICH! Well, out of nowhere, Bayern have just raced ahead thanks to a brilliant effort from the youngster, though he was helped by poor goalkeeping from Navas. James played a neat through ball onto the Germany International’s path, who wasted no time in unleashing a wicked strike that flew past Navas at the near post and nestled in the far corner.
To make matters worse for Madrid, it was James - only on loan from the LaLiga giants - who provided the assist, playing Kimmich into acres of space.
26'
Madrid are just starting to come into this one now in terms of an attacking threat, having spent the majority of the opening 20 minutes defending and denying Bayern the space to operate. Zidane will be pleased with his side’s display so far, while the hosts must sharpen up on the ball.
24'
A loose ball falls to Carvajal around 15 yards out, slightly to the right of centre, but the full-back can’t generate the power to beat Ulreich.
22'
Thiago has not been up to speed at all since his introduction, and the playmaker has just hit a simple pass out wide to Ribery way ahead of the Frenchman, who didn’t have a chance of keeping it in play.
20'
Ronaldo gets in down the right as Madrid finally forge a decent opportunity at the other end, but Boateng races over to block the 33-year-old’s cross.
18'
Rafinha tries his luck from around 30 yards out, with Madrid’s defence having stayed in shape. The strike has a lot of power on it, but doesn’t trouble Navas too much.
15'
Madrid have seen little of the ball so far, with neither Modric or Kroos able to pick up possession for a sustained period of time. So far, though, Bayern have lacked the penetration they usually have in the final third.
14'
Vazquez is tracking back well, although he has just been forced into a foul on Rafinha down Bayern’s left. Thiago delivers a decent cross from the resulting free-kick, but Ramos is on hand to head it wide and out of danger.
10'
That injury to Robben has just stemmed the flow of this game somewhat, and that is likely to suit Madrid, who will want to settle into proceedings. And there will be another stoppage now, after Lewandowski and Ramos collided heavily.
8'
Thiago Alcântara enters the game and replaces A. Robben.
And now here is the change. Thiago Alcantara, a former Barcelona star, is on in place of the stricken Arjen Robben. The Spaniard will slot into midfield, with Muller moving out to the right.
7'
It doesn’t look like Robben will be able to carry on, and the former Madrid winger is now making his way towards the tunnel. Thiago is preparing himself on the touchline.
5'
This could be a blow for Bayern, with Robben having gone down with an injury. The Dutchman is receiving some treatment, and looks set to try and continue.
4'
This game is end-to-end at the moment, and only a crucial interception from Modric prevents James - who is of course playing against his parent club this evening - getting in. Ribery picks up the scraps and appeals for a penalty for handball when his toe-poke is blocked by Carvajal, but the referee is having none off it.
2'
Kroos unlocks his former team with a brilliant pass, freeing Vazquez down the left. The winger does well to engineer the space for a cross, but neither Ronaldo or Isco can get on the end of it.
1'
And we are off! Bayern are in their famous red and white home jersey, while Madrid wear their black away strip. It promises to be a cracker!
CHANCE! Almost the opener for Bayern inside the first 20 seconds! Sloppy play from Carvajal allows Lewandowski to pounce and drive into the area down the left. The angle was too tight for a shot, so the former Borussia Dortmund man squared it to Muller. However, the cross had way too much power on it, and the Germany forward couldn’t adjust his feet quickly enough.
While Jupp Heynckes is trying to replicate the treble he claimed with Bayern at the end of his last stint at the club back in 2013, Zinedine Zidane’s Madrid are aiming for in the hunt for a third consecutive Champions League title.
Now, we'll take a look at how both teams line up at Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich substitutes: Juan Bernat, Niklas Sule, Tom Starke, Corentin Tolisso, Sandro Wagner, Sebastian Rudy, Thiago Alcantara.
Bayern Munich (4-1-4-1): Sven Ulreich; Joshua Kimmich, Mats Hummels, Jerome Boateng, Rafinha; Javi Martinez; Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller, James Rodriguez, Franck Ribery; Robert Lewandowski.
Hello! Welcome to LIVE coverage of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final between Bayern Munich and current holders Real Madrid!
There are two real European heavyweights going head-to-head this evening in Bavaria. It is the 25th meeting between the two sides, and this encounter is the most played European Cup/Champions League history.
Real Madrid substitutes: Gareth Bale, Kiko Casilla, Mateo Kovacic, Marco Asensio, Jesus Vallejo, Theo Hernandez, Karim Benzema.
Real Madrid (4-3-3): Keylor Navas; Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos; Lucas Vazquez, Cristiano Ronaldo, Isco.
The headline news for Madrid is that Ronaldo, who has netted at least one goal in each of his last 11 Champions League games, starts up top, with both Benzema and Bale on the bench. The hosts, meanwhile, have veteran wingers Robben and Ribery on the flanks, with Muller and James tasked with offering Lewandowski support.
The atmosphere is lively, to say the least, in Munich! Both teams are making their way out of the tunnel, with just moments remaining until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: Bayern Munich 1 Real Madrid 1.
However, that all changed on the stroke of half-time, when Marcelo fired home in sensational fashion, claiming what could be a crucial away goal for Madrid.
It has been a strange encounter so far in Munich, that’s for sure! It was the hosts who took the lead through Joshua Kimmich, and Bayern dominated for the next 15 minutes, with Madrid looking devoid of ideas.
FULL TIME! It’s all over in Munich, with Madrid claiming a 2-1 win over the Bundesliga champions Bayern.
It was a far from convincing display from Madrid, but they took their chances when they came - Marcelo and Asensio grabbing the crucial away goals for the holders.
Bayern must now travel to Spain and need at least two goals to progress to the final. They certainly aren’t out of this tie, but it’s definitely advantage Madrid.
Well, that’s all for now. Until next time, goodbye!
