Italy immediately win the ball back in search of a (more) decisive third goal. Their confidence from early in this second half is back.
74'
M. Kean has scored a goal for Italy! Assist by C. Immobile.
GOOOOOOAAAAAL! Italy have surely sealed all three points with a goal from Kean on his full debut. The youngster caps off a fine night by latching on to Immobile's pass and calmly slotting the ball into the bottom-left corner. 2-0 to the home side!
Lazio striker Immobile was so, so patient as he waited for the run of Kean, having seen Bernardeschi miss several killer passes earlier in the match.
72'
We're in the last 20 minutes now and Finland are still firmly in this one. It could've been 1-1 not so long ago had Pukki converted from close range.
70'
L. Lappalainen enters the game and replaces K. Hämäläinen.
The first substitution of the game sees Hamalainen replaced by Lappalainen, who makes his third appearance for Finland.
68'
Bernardeschi keeps finding space in between the Finnish back four and midfield, only for his final ball to let him down.
67'
Immobile throws himself to the ground in the box in similar fashion to Bernardeschi in the first half. Just like before, the referee doesn't give a penalty.
63'

Sparv goes into the book for a little kick at Chiellini after the Italian had gone to ground.
Verratti also receives a booking for remonstrating with the referee.
62'
Bernardeschi waits and waits for Immobile to make a run in behind the Finland defence, but the resulting pass is late and overhit from the Juventus man. There have been quite a few nearly moments for the 25-year-old here in Udine.
60'
Kean troubles the Finland defence once again with a storming run along the right flank, only winning a corner for his efforts as the visitors close down the space.
57'

54'
Chiellini then curls a lofted cross to the far post for Kean, but the striker can't get off the ground in time to redirect a header towards goal.
52'
There's definitely more swagger about Italy's play so far in this second half. Verratti has just clipped a perfectly weighted ball over the top for Immobile, who pulls out just as he's about to shoot. Hradecky makes a vital touch to get it away.
51'
Immobile plays a one-two with Jorginho, with the Lazio striker ready to shoot inside Finland's box. Hradecky is alert, though, and rushes out to gather.
49'

48'
Piccini and Pirenen clash heads this time near the halfway line. The free-kick goes Finland's way.
47'
Bernardeschi begins the second half just like he did the first, with a determined run down the wing. This time he doesn't slip and finds Immobile, who clashes heads with Vaisanen. The Finnish defender has just walked off after receiving treatment.
46'
Finland start the second half. Can they stage an upset here?
45' +1

Barella cuts the ball back to Biraghi just inside Finland's area following some slick buildup. The Fiorentina player gets too much on his attempt and misses the target.

40'

39'
Italy are camped in their own penalty area at the moment as Finland look for a late equaliser in this first half.

30'
Kean makes a move with a run in behind, which Verratti spots before just missing with a ball over the top.
29'
Mancini has clearly told his side to be patient out there tonight. That patience has sometimes ventured into overplaying, but the space is there.
27'
The Azzurri are now enjoying most of the action as Bernardeschi aims for the far corner with a low shot, only to drag his effort too far wide.
26'
Kean has been a threat every time he's had the ball so far. Arajuuri does well to block the forward's shot on the edge of the box.
24'
Chiellini has to stick a leg out to stop Lod, who would've been in on goal following a loose touch by the centre-half.
23'
Italy try to spring a counter through Kean but Finland react well to stop them moving beyond the centre of the pitch.
19'
Lod works a chance on to his right foot after a promising move down the right wing for Finland. The skipper blazes his shot way over the crossbar, though.
17'
Jorginho, Verratti and the scorer Barella are keeping possession well in the centre for the home side.
15'
The referee plays a smart advantage in favour of Finland, allowing Lod to shoot from distance. His effort drifts wide to the right of Italy's goal.
13'

2'
Vaisanen has to stop Bernardeschi this time during a powerful run towards the Finland penalty area.

Italy kick things off.
Bernardeschi immediately charges down the right but slips mid-cross, allowing the ball to go behind for a goal kick.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Euro 2020 qualifier between Italy and Finland.
The Azzurri are yet to burst into life under Roberto Mancini, eight games into his rebuild after they missed out on the World Cup in Russia. A disappointing runners-up finish behind Portugal in the Nations League saw continued struggles in front of goal. Italy have not scored more than once in a competitive game since thrashing Liechtenstein 5-0 back in June 2017, which also took place in the Stadio Friuli. Mancini will hope the Udine air pushes them to a similarly resounding victory.
FINLAND (5-4-1): Lukas Hradecky; Albin Granlund, Joona Toivio, Sauli Vaisanen, Paulus Arajuuri, Juha Pirinen; Robin Lod, Tim Sparv, Kasper Hamalainen, Glen Kamara; Teemu Pukki.
FINLAND SUBS: Jesse Joronen, Fredrik Jensen, Thomas Lam, Mikko, Sumusalo, Robert Taylor, Joni Kauko, Anssi Jaakkola, Rasmus Schuller, Pyry Soiri, Lassi Lappalainen, Rasmus Karjalainen, Leo Vaisanen.
Finland’s odds don’t look great having not beaten Italy in 12 previous attempts, plus they’ve never qualified for a major tournament. Recent Nations League promotion might make them a different beast for Euros qualification, though, and the hosts ought to be wary of Norwich City’s Teemu Pukki, who has scored more goals than anyone in the English Championship with 24.
Mancini will surely instruct his side to attack and outnumber Finland more in wide areas, where the visitors have looked vulnerable during Italy's brightest moments. Finland can afford to see the game as a free hit against the group favourites and go for it, with a Nations League play-off place already in their back pocket.
Mancini will also be delighted that his side broke their near three-year run without scoring more than once in a competitive fixture. The Azzurri have another chance for more goals and maximum points when they take on Liechtenstein in Parma early next week. Meanwhile, Finland will feel they need something from a trip to Armenia if they hope to keep pace in Group J. That concludes our coverage, thanks for reading along!
