Arsenal's fight for a top-four place continues and they come into this game having lost just one of their last seven matches in all competitions (W6). Their form at the Emirates is impressive as well as they are on a run of 10 wins at home in the league. Palace's form has been rocky of late after alternating between victory and defeat in their last eight games, and they come into this game having suffered a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City last time out.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Arsenal and Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium!
Arsenal got into a lot of dangerous positions in the first half and had a couple of half chances, but if they want to find a way back into the game, then they need to be more clinical in front of goal. Aubameyang has also struggled to get on the ball so far, so they will need to get him involved more often as he is a threat in front of goal. Hodgson will be happy with his team's performance so far and they have caused Arsenal a lot of problems when they eventually get forward. If they continue to attack in the same way, then they look like they could definitely double their advantage.
Arsenal miss the chance to leapfrog Spurs in the table and go third after losing today but do still have a game in hand over their North London rivals, which they will play in midweek against Wolves. A win today also could have taken them a couple of points clear over the other teams challenging for the top-four. Palace do go up to 12th in the table and their impressive results away from home continue. Hodgson will be hoping his team can find some consistency in their results though going into the last few games of the season.
