G. Murray enters the game and replaces D. Stephens.
This is an interesting one. Potter replaces midfielder Stephens with an extra striker in Murray. Perhaps he felt his side were too passive and needed an out-ball.
89'
L. Dunk gets yellow.
Dunk becomes the second Brighton player to go into the book after wrestling Kane to the ground.
88'
G. Bong enters the game and replaces S. Alzate.
Alzate is now off for Bong, who will double-up with Burn on the left side to provide additional security in the closing stages.
84'
Webster picks up the pieces on the right as a Brighton attack breaks down on the edge of the box and comes out to him. He drives right into the box and tries to steer one across goal, but Gazzaniga is there to hold on.
80'
Y. Bissouma enters the game and replaces A. Connolly.
Bissouma is the man to replace Connolly as Potter adds an extra midfielder to see out the win.
79'
Connolly is down and shakes his head as he turns to the bench. It looks like the hero of the day will be forced off.
73'
Lucas Moura enters the game and replaces Son Heung-Min.
Son is now replaced by Lucas as Pochettino tries to get his side back in the game with fresh legs in attack.
69'
OVER! Eriksen snatches at a shot following a corner and lashes it over the bar. He just hasn't been able to really test Ryan today.
65'
A. Connolly has scored a goal for Brighton & Hove Albion! Assist by L. Dunk.
Dunk gets his head up in space inside his own half and plays an outstanding ball straight into Connolly's path, flighting the ball away from Alderweireld so he couldn't intercept it.
GOAL!!! CONNOLLY MAKES IT 3-0!!! Another goal by the teenager on his first Premier League start - and it's a lovely one! Dunk plays a delightful long ball to the young forward on the left and he cuts inside Alderweireld before curling low into the bottom corner!

Description
59'
SHOT! Eriksen has a pop from distance but it's blocked comfortably away. Spurs have yet to really carve themselves an opening in this half.
57'
D. Stephens gets yellow.
Stephens goes into the book for preventing Lamela from taking a quick-free kick.
55'
E. Dier gets yellow.
Dier picks up the first yellow card of the day for that off-the-ball incident involving Connolly.
54'
CHANCE! Maupay wriggles into the box but his shot is charged down at point-blank range. The summer signing has been a real handful today.
52'
Connolly has gone down off the ball holding his face. It was behind the referee, so VAR may take a look at that to see if anything needs doing.
50'
Spurs look better in possession so far in this half and have tested Brighton a couple of times down the flanks, penning them in and earning a couple of corners.
48'
Dier is now holding his position as the central defender in a back three, freeing Sissoko up to maraud down the right and limiting his defensive responsibilities.
46'
H. Winks enters the game and replaces T. Ndombélé.
Pochettino hooks summer signing Ndombele at half-time, replacing him with Winks in midfield.
We're back under way for the start of the second half!
45' +7
HALF-TIME: BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION 2-0 TOTTENHAM
45' +6
SHOT! Maupay lines one up from distance and hits a dipping, swerving effort at goal. Gazzaniga watches it all the way and makes the save. Brighton are determined to test him.
45' +4
CHANCE! Maupay gets down then left and just about keeps the ball in play before fizzing a cross across the box. It takes a nick off Alderweireld and spins just past the far corner! That could have gone anywhere.
45' +2
Dier is often dropping between the centre-halves to form a three-man defence in the middle. Sissoko is struggling at right-back and the extra body may offer him the additional protection he needs.
45'
There will be seven minutes of added time following the lengthy treatment Lloris required at the start of the half.
42'
WIDE! Montoya sees a shot blocked from outside the box before Mooy attempts an ambitious long-range effort on his left foot that flies well wide.
40'
Brighton are pouring forward and are getting into the final third with ease. Spurs' press is half-hearted and they are offering little resistance to a buoyant Brighton side.
38'
Gazzaniga has to jump and awkwardly control from a difficult, bouncing back-pass, before attempting to dink the ball over Mooy and into Sissoko, but it ends up out of play following a poor touch by the makeshift right-back. Spurs are really on the ropes at the moment.
32'
A. Connolly has scored a goal for Brighton & Hove Albion!
GOAL!! CONNOLLY MAKES IT 2-0! The ball is crossed in from the left and he produces a clever flicked effort that Gazzaniga can only parry back into his path. The teenager then curls into the far corner via a slight deflection off Davies!
28'
Webster sprints out to intercept as the ball is played down the line for Kane on the counter, but he slips as he gets to it, misses the ball and takes Kane out. The Spurs bench are incensed, but there's no booking for the Seagulls defender.
26'
SHOT! Eriksen gets the ball out of hs feet and lashes one at goal from outside the box. It's straight at Ryan and at a nice height, but the goalkeeper spills his initial catch and has to dive to collect the rebound ahead of Kane.
24'
Brighton lose the ball high up on the right wing and press fiercely to win it back. Montoya is a little overzealous in his efforts, however, and slides in rashly on Davies. He's lucky to escape a booking there.
22'
Brighton are first to every ball and look really up for this one. Spurs looks sluggish and laboured and are really struggling to impose themselves.
20'
A clash of heads between Maupay and Vertonghen has left the latter with a nasty-looking black eye. He should be able to continue but it looks a painful one.
18'
Potter appears to be utilising a 4-4-2. Alzate is in the middle of the pitch and the Seagulls are employing a back four, with Burn at left-back and Mooy ahead of him in a tucked-in wide role.
16'
Spurs advance with the ball but are lacking and energy or conviction. Lloris' injury looks to have rattled them, understandably.
14'
Brighton are certainly on the front foot now as Alzate is slipped into the box by Gross, but Vertonghen times his sliding challenge well and wins the ball. He had to get that right or it would have been a penalty.
8'
P. Gazzaniga enters the game and replaces H. Lloris.
Gazzaniga comes off the bench to replace the stricken Lloris between the sticks.
7'
Lloris is receiving lengthy treatment and requires gas and air before being carried off with his arm held up for him. That could be a real blow for Spurs - their captain could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
3'
N. Maupay has scored a goal for Brighton & Hove Albion!
GOAL!!! ANOTHER HOWLER FROM LLORIS! Lloris claims a cross but somehow allows it to squirm from his grasp, with Maupay on hand to head home from virtually on the line! It's 1-0 to Brighton!

We're off at the Amex Stadium!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham at the Amex Stadium.
Brighton face a top-six side from London for the second week running after losing 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out. Tottenham, meanwhile, will be desperate for a positive result following their humiliating 7-2 defeat against Bayern Munich in midweek.
Brighton XI (3-5-2): Mat Ryan; Adam Webster, Lewis Dunk, Dan Burn; Martin Montoya, Pascal Gross, Dale Stephens, Aaron Mooy, Steven Alzate; Neal Maupay, Aaron Connolly
Brighton substitutes: David Button, Gaetan Bong, Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Leon Balogun, Solly March, Yves Bissouma, Glenn Murray
Tottenham XI (4-2-3-1): Hugo Lloris; Moussa Sissoko, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies; Eric Dier, Tanguy Ndombele; Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen, Son Heung-min; Harry Kane
Tottenham substitutes: Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks, Paulo Gazzaniga, Oliver Skipp, Juan Foyth, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura
There goes the half-time whistle! Lloris' third-minute error proved costly in more ways than one as he dropped the ball into the path of Maupay before landing very awkwardly on his left arm and sustaining what looked to be a very serious injury. Replacement shot-stopper Gazzaniga then parried an effort straight into the path of Connolly, whose deflected shot nestled in the bottom corner! It's 2-0 to Brighton at the break!
Spurs look a shadow of themselves. There's next to no intensity, they've hardly created anything and have allowed Brighton to attack them at will. They don't look focused. It could potentially be the after-effects of their loss to Bayern, or even the seriousness of Lloris' injury that has affected them psychologically. Either way, Pochettino has a real task on his hands to get them firing in the second half.
Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game. Until next time, goodbye!
Brighton play Aston Villa away from home next, while Tottenham host struggling Watford in an attempt to get their season back on track.
