Frustration for United. A move down the left ends with Gomes teeing up a Pereira cross, but Walker's challenge ricochets back off the United man. It is a goal-kick, and that might be that for this first leg.
90' +1
City are patient this time, Gundogan keeping the ball on the edge of the United area. He finally looks to Bernardo Silva on the right, but the midfielder cuts inside straight into United traffic. The hosts clear.
90'
A long ball to Sterling has City on the break again, and Bernardo Silva really should find Foden on the right, with United outnumbered. A poor pass is cut out by Matic.
89'
United's set-pieces have been really poor today. They make nothing of their latest corner after the Bravo save, the ball soon ending up back at the feet of De Gea.
86'
P. Foden enters the game and replaces R. Mahrez.
SUB: Mahrez has impressed up against the inexperienced Williams, and he makes way for Foden, the winger trudging off slowly.
84'
Williams gets down the left and crosses first time, but Bravo gathers the delivery with ease under little pressure. This game is just petering out, even with plenty still to play for.
82'
K. Walker gets yellow.
YELLOW: Walker goes into the book for time-wasting with a throw-in, City again choosing to slow the game.
81'
A. Martial enters the game and replaces M. Greenwood.
SUB: Can Martial get United a second to really bring them back into the semi-final? He comes on for Greenwood.
80'
Gabriel Jesus enters the game and replaces K. De Bruyne.
SUB: De Bruyne is able to walk off the pitch but Guardiola opts to replace his midfield star, bringing on Jesus.

Description
76'
City are just slowing the game again. They might be frustrated at letting United back into the tie slightly, but Guardiola's men are still firmly in control.
74'
De Bruyne builds speed, running directly at the United defence, but he appears to stumble as he enters the area and can only shoot low against Jones.
73'
B. Williams gets yellow.
YELLOW: Williams was lucky to avoid a card earlier for a wild swipe at Mahrez. He is shown yellow this time, though, shoving the same player to the ground as he goes up for a header.
70'
M. Rashford has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by M. Greenwood.
It is a lovely Greenwood pass that puts the ball in front of Rashford, clear of the defence, to finish calmly.
GOAL!! Is this tie still alive?! It's 3-1! Seconds after City fans were cheering each pass, United break - as they did in the league last month - and Rashford finishes clinically into the bottom-left corner. They have 110 minutes left to rescue this semi-final.
67'
Mahrez carelessly gives the ball away to Fred, granting United a rare break. Wan-Bissaka cannot beat Mendy, though, and United's attempts to play the ball across the edge of the area are halted when Rashford is flagged offside.
65'
Another City counter sees Bernardo Silva look left to Sterling. The winger tees up Gundogan but the shot is blocked, and City this time choose to keep possession.
64'
A. Gomes enters the game and replaces D. James.
SUB: James' fairly dismal evening comes to an end, with Gomes on for United.
Rashford lines up the free-kick after Pereira is fouled, but a 25-yard effort never troubles Bravo, dropping over the crossbar.
63'
Rodri gets yellow.
YELLOW: Rodri is getting the hang of these tactical City fouls there is so much discussion about. He chops down Pereira as the United man runs at the away defence.
62'
Foul against Sterling when he looks to be in! James has been so poor and again presents the ball to City. De Bruyne shoots hard and low at the end of a counter, the ball blocked but deflecting to Sterling. He is adjudged to have fouled Lindelof as he gets in behind the United defence, though.
60'
United have to stay patient on the edge of the City box but do not. A fairly aimless cross into the centre, where only Rashford is waiting, is cleared. The crowd are at least lifted by Jones' ability to halt City on halfway, though.
59'
City are unhappy with James again. They fail to make the most of a counter-attacking opportunity, and De Gea's quick throw out prompts a United break. James is in a race with Otamendi until Bravo steps in. The Welshman clips the goalkeeper, who complains to the referee, but there is no foul.
58'
Now James is perhaps lucky not to go into the book. He has endured a very frustrating evening and overruns the ball down the right, fouling Otamendi as he hares after a poor touch. No card.
56'
It is attack after City attack. They move down the left this time and a low ball is awkwardly shielded back by Lindelof, who had failed to decisively intervene, to De Gea.
55'
Williams is very fortunate not to concede a foul - and possibly more. A lovely Mahrez touch beats the young full-back, who takes a wild swipe at ball and man. He misses both, the ball runs out of play, and United get a goal-kick.
54'
Mahrez runs at Jones, who can only shuffle his feet fast enough to get the ball out of play for a City corner. Mahrez's set-piece is noddded away.
52'
Fred gets yellow.
YELLOW: Some noise at last from the home faithful. Fred trips Mahrez and goes into the book, prompting whistles.
51'
James cannot reach a pass down the right as United's latest attack comes to nothing. Old Trafford remains full but is largely quiet but for frustrated groans and the sound of the City away end.
50'
De Bruyne is simply too fast for the United back line, speeding down the left this time. His cutback is fortunate to reach Sterling, who shoots straight against the nearest United defender.
48'
The City fans have started the second half by cheering every United touch. This is all very embarrassing for the hosts.
47'
Really nice play from United, first through Pereira finding Rashford wide left, and then with Fred playing pretty passes on the left corner of the area. But Williams is the man to finally shoot right-footed, a tame effort easy pickings for Bravo.
46'
N. Matić enters the game and replaces J. Lingard.
SUB: Not the most adventurous of changes from Solskjaer. Holding midfielder Matic replaces Lingard.
KICK-OFF: A shellshocked United get us back under way through Rashford.
45' +2
HALF-TIME: Manchester United 0-3 Manchester City
A foul is given against Rodri when he appeared to be felled himself by Fred. An odd decision from referee Dean.
45' +1
There will be a minimum of one minute added time.
45'
Awful from Pereira, who has been largely anonymous besides his own goal. The midfielder shoots from close to 30 yards but blazes high and wide. What an awful half from United.
38'
Andreas Pereira is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
OWN GOAL!! It's three for City! Ruthless! James' poor touch on the edge of the area allows City to break. Bernardo Silva again frees Mahrez, who this time is brilliantly tracked by Williams. A desperate tackle merely plays in De Bruyne, though, the midfielder chopping into space with a stunning touch. De Gea blocks the shot but the rebound strikes Pereira. The ball is in the net once again.
36'
United are in real danger of losing this semi-final in the home first leg. They have scarcely laid a glove on City, who are dictating the tempo and kicking into gear every so often to punish a lacklustre home defence.
35'
J. Lingard gets yellow.
YELLOW: United are getting a little frustrated, unable to gain any measure of control over this game. Lingard's challenge on Fernandinho certainly lacked control, a lunge into the City captain punished with a card.
33'
R. Mahrez has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva has a wonderful assist to add to his spectacular goal. He is undoubtedly the star of the show in this one, showing his full range of talents.
GOAL!! A stunning counter-attack and Mahrez makes it two! Glorious play from Bernardo Silva, who drives his team forward this time, the scorer turning provider with a stunning pass in behind Lindelof. Mahrez rounds De Gea with his first touch and slides in the second. 2-0 City.
32'
This should be a United chance! Fred's eventual corner is headed straight back to him, and he tees up Pereira. A deep cross bounces through the area to Lindelof, who hooks the ball back into the centre. City clear with no United player alert enough to pounce.
31'
A rare United cheer. James gets a cross in down the right, a poor delivery cleared by Mendy but cleared behind. The City fans enjoy seeing Fred struggle to take the kick in the wind, though.
30'
Sterling has not typically enjoyed the best of times against United. He is freed on the left by a wonderful Bravo pass but then gets the ball stuck under his feet, hacking a left-footed cross against his standing right foot.
29'
Jeers from the City fans as De Gea, for once under very little pressure, shanks a pass out of play. The ball was seemingly intended for Williams, some way further down the left flank.
28'
City are so astute at escaping the United press. They ping the ball back and forth until the hosts finally lose interest. Chances have been few and far between, but the visitors deservedly lead.
26'
A rare United move sees Williams push on down the left and find Greenwood, who in turn slips in Lingard. The midfielder's first touch takes him into the path of Fernandinho, though, the City captain knocking the ball back to Bravo.
23'
Bernardo Silva takes a moment to get back to his feet as he goes down under a challenge from Lingard. There is no foul but the midfielder's head appeared to collide with Jones' knee, seeing the game stopped by referee Mike Dean. Bernardo Silva is fine to continue without treatment.
21'
Mahrez works space for a shot but is quickly closed down on the edge of the area. United block but the ball is back at City feet soon enough. They build again.
19'
Bravo dashes from his line, prompting hearts in mouths for City fans, but he times a clearance well. United will have to attack City now, which may not suit Solskjaer's side.
18'
City fans roar Bernardo Silva's name at a hushed Old Trafford. That is a blow for United.
17'
Bernardo Silva has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by K. Walker.
GOAL!! It's a stunner from Bernardo Silva! City have dominated possession and, after some plodding passing, Walker accelerates the move and squares to the midfielder. Still 25 yards from goal, he thunders a left-footed drive across De Gea into the top-left corner. 1-0 City!
City were again moving the ball slowly until Walker burst forward. There was still little on when he played a simple pass to Bernardo Silva, though. This goal was all about the finish.
15'
Again City take their time; again a poor pass undoes their work. De Bruyne underplays his ball to the right and Williams steps in. United cannot keep the ball, though.
14'
It is patient play from City until a misunderstanding between Mendy and Sterling sees the Frenchman gift the ball to a grateful Wan-Bissaka.
12'
De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva push high - the former worrying Jones again briefly - and De Gea's hurried clearance grants City another extended stretch of possession.
11'
Rashford's pace looks to be the big concern for City going the other way. He reaches a Greenwood knockdown and looks to beat Fernandinho, but the defender just gets a touch to send the ball behind. The corner goes short and comes to nothing.
9'
Sterling certainly fancies himself up against Wan-Bissaka. He runs at the full-back again but is just unable to work a yard in the area.
8'
City enjoy some possession before Fernandinho launches a pass to Sterling. Some lovely interplay on the edge of the UNited area almost creates an opening until Jones steps in.
Electric from Rashford! United counter and his first touch burns past Otamendi, allowing the forward to cross low beyond Bravo. Fernandinho is on hand to clear. United stay on the front foot, but a poor Fred shot is miscued to the offside Rashford.
7'
Sterling runs at Wan-Bissaka a couple of times, then finds Bernardo Silva, who forces a corner down the City left. It is cleared with ease, however.
5'
Slight concern for United. Rashford, captain today, is hobbling after a challenge in the centre of the pitch. He is playing on for now, though.
4'
It is City's turn to dally in defence, and United are on them quickly. There is a predictably fast pace to the early stages of this derby.
3'
If United can beat the City press, they will fancy their pace against the visiting back line - as was the case when they dominated the Premier League champions last month. Greenwood earns a free-kick from Otamendi.
2'
United are looking to pass out from the back, and City are pressing hard early on. De Bruyne almost pounces on a Jones error.
1'
KICK-OFF: City's Gundogan gets us up and running at Old Trafford!
Sterling looks to have started on the left, with Bernardo Silva through the middle. His first cross is cleared. At the other end, Rodri appears to be in midfield in front of Fernandinho and Otamendi.
