They're winless in their last six league games and have lost the last four without scoring a single goal. Their last win came against Bournemouth at the end of December when they beat them 2-0.

The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
Howe will be pleased with his side's performance so far as they dealt with Brighton's pressure well before taking advantage of their chances and also ending their run without a goal. He'll want more of the same after the break. Potter, on the other hand, will be frustrated that his side didn't score while they were on top and will want them to be more clinical in the second half if they want to get back into the game.
That's all for today, goodbye!
Bournemouth are now on 23 points which moves them up to 18th, level with West Ham who don't play until tomorrow. Their attention now turns to the FA Cup when they host Arsenal at the weekend. As for Brighton, their winless run extends to five games but they stay in 15th. They have a lot of time to prepare for their next match as they face West Ham at the start of February.
