A CONSOLATION FOR THE CHERRIES! Although Dias almost intercepts at the last moment, Zemura's cross from the left side of the area reaches Lerma in the centre. The latter then thumps the ball past Ederson from 10 yards, finding the top-centre of City's goal! It's 4-1 now, but it's all too late.

Description
78'
Having already been booked since arriving from the subs' bench, Phillips clips Lerma in midfield, but the referee decides only a free-kick should be awarded. It would be a truly reckless act to get sent off now, with the points under wraps.
76'
J. Anthony enters the game and replaces H. Traorè.
Anthony is introduced by O'Neil for the final stages of the game, with Traore making way.
75'
We are down to walking pace now, as both sides have apparently accepted their lot for today. City don't want to risk injuries or suspensions, while Bournemouth will be keen to keep the scoreline respectable.
72'
R. Mahrez enters the game and replaces J. Grealish.
M. Perrone enters the game and replaces E. Haaland.
Grealish has put in another commendable shift for Man City today and is now replaced by Mahrez.
Haaland celebrated becoming City's top scorer in a single Premier League season today, and now makes way for Perrone.
69'
Though Fredericks manages to elude Ake on the right flank, his flat cross along the six-yard box is cleanly plucked from the air by Ederson, who is under no pressure.
66'
Following a melee inside Man City's area, Outtara sees a volleyed strike from 15 yards blocked, and Senesi ultimately sends the ball wide with a header.
65'
A rare Bournemouth foray forward results in Dias half-clearing the ball near the byline, before Lewis is forced to turn it behind for a corner.
63'
M. Akanji gets yellow.
A reckless sliding challenge by Akanji on Solanke results in the latter being swept off his feet and the former receiving a booking.
60'
K. Phillips gets yellow.
For bringing down Outtara by the touchline with an awkward challenge, Phillips is the latest player to see yellow.
59'
R. Fredericks enters the game and replaces A. Smith.
J. Rothwell enters the game and replaces P. Billing.
Rothwell is offered a run-out for the final half-hour, as a forlorn Billing departs.
O'Neil now responds to his side's slow start to the second half: first, Fredericks comes on for Smith.
58'
C. Mepham gets yellow.
With Grealish sprinting clear into space, Mepham opts to trip his opponent and is subsequently booked by the referee.
55'
Sergio Gómez enters the game and replaces İ. Gündoğan.
K. Phillips enters the game and replaces Rodri.
Guardiola decides it's time to make a couple of changes, with the points long since secured. First, Phillips swaps places with Rodri in midfield.
Gundogan is the other player to make way for City, as Gomez comes on in his place.
53'
There's no let-off in the visitors' approach during this second half, as they press on relentlessly in search of more goals. Bournemouth's defending - deep and error-strewn - has invited them to do so.
51'
C. Mepham is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
CITY STRIKE AGAIN! Foden and Lewis combine down the right, before a failure to clear the danger by Bournemouth's defence presents the ball to Alvarez, who lurks near the penalty spot. After taking a touch to steady himself, the Man City striker lashes it towards goal, and Mepham's desperate attempts to make a block near the goal line only send the ball into the net! That's 4-0, and the champions are not done yet!
49'
A scramble inside the Bournemouth box sees the home side survive a couple of attempts to set up Manchester City's fourth goal, before the assistant puts his flag up to indicate an offside.
48'
An ugly hack on Grealish earns Ouattara a merited yellow card - the first of the game for either side.
47'
Dango Ouattara gets yellow.
46'
Manchester City kick off, and we are back under way in Bournemouth!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: BOURNEMOUTH 0-3 MANCHESTER CITY
45'
P. Foden has scored a goal for Manchester City!
FODEN FIRES IN CITY'S THIRD! An awful error by Billing hands possession to Foden, who simply intercepts the ball before it gets to Stephens on the edge of the Bournemouth box and thumps it into the bottom-right corner unerringly. That's some way to celebrate his 200th appearance for the club! It's 3-0 now, and surely game over!
43'
Attempting to wrestle the ball off Lewis on the left, Zemura gets a little too close for the referee's liking and the Man City youngster earns his side a free-kick to stem Bournemouth's building pressure.
35'
Akanji intervenes near the corner flag to stop Solanke's progress towards the left byline, and Bournemouth have a corner. The hosts are improving now - already, they've nothing left to lose.
31'
As the home side attempt to get themselves back into the game, Lerma is off balance when taking a shot from outside the box: it sails high and wide to the right of Ederson's goal.
29'
E. Haaland has scored a goal for Manchester City! Assist by P. Foden.
Foden can't convert Gundogan's cross from the left, but still diverts it to Haaland for Manchester City's star striker to finish a quick counter.
2-0 TO CITY! When Gundogan is released down the left, the Manchester City attack surges forward at full pace, and he then delivers a ball to the back post for Foden. Though the latter can't turn it home under pressure, Haaland reacts quickest to poke it home from just a few yards out! That's number 27 in the Premier League for the City striker!
28'
Bournemouth build down the left again, but when Traore tries to sling over a cross from near the byline, Dias does well to make a timely block.
26'
Solanke fails to control the ball inside the City area, then tumbles to the turf in hope of a generous penalty award. The referee or VAR are not interested, so despite the home fans' howls, the game goes on.
25'
A rather dramatic fall ensues when Outtara is bumped from behind by Dias in midfield, and Bournemouth have a free-kick which will release a little pressure.
23'
After sprinting into space to pick up a return pass from Traore down the left, Anthony can only drift an aimless cross towards the six-yard box, and Ederson simply plucks it out of the evening air.
21'
Having slipped past Stephens on the left side of the area, Haaland drives a low shot against the defender's outstretched boot from a tight angle is rewarded with a corner.
Bundling aside his marker, Dias dives into a header following Foden's corner from the left, but his effort zips a yard wide of the right-hand post.
15'
J. Álvarez has scored a goal for Manchester City!
CITY STRIKE! The champions lead! After Lewis wins the ball in midfield, Foden latches on to Gundogan's chipped pass before being blocked by Neto. The ball breaks towards Haaland, whose deflected shot strikes the crossbar and the rebound is greedily tucked away from close range by an alert Alvarez! It's 1-0 to City!
13'
Lewis has taken up a more central position, as is common for Manchester City's 'right-back', but despite aiding his team's dominance of possession, the away side are unable to provide any penetration as yet.
11'
Two attempts by Foden are blocked by a sea of shins in front of him inside the Bournemouth area, before the hosts attempt to strike on the counter attack - their move soon breaks down, though.
9'
With their opponents sitting deep, City are probing patiently just outside Bournemouth's defensive third. They've little space to work with at the moment, and this pattern is likely to be repeated throughout the game.
7'
An ambitious attempt from around 25 yards out by Rodri sweeps over the crossbar, with Neto watching the ball fly over his head. It was certainly well struck, but lacked a little accuracy.
3'
A lofted cross from the left touchline by Billing almost drops for Smith in the centre of Manchester City's area, but the full-back's first touch with his chest is loose and the chance disappears just as soon as it came.
2'
Grealish wins an early corner, and from the set-piece Billing is able to nod the ball away from danger at the back post.

The home side kick off, and we are under way in Bournemouth!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's Premier League clash between Bournemouth and Manchester City at the Vitality Stadium!
Bournemouth ended a nine-game winless run with their 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, when scoring with their only attempt on target secured a first away success since September. Gary O'Neil's side have now taken five points from their last four Premier League games, which moved them out of the relegation zone, though they have subsequently dropped down to 19th. After claiming a first victory since O'Neil was named permanent manager, the Cherries now aim to claim consecutive top-flight wins for the first time since February 2020. However, they have endured England's longest winless run against a single opponent: the South Coast side have never beaten Manchester City in 17 previous league meetings, with 15 ending in defeat.
Manchester City have won every one of their 11 Premier League meetings with Bournemouth to date, including when the two teams met in August's reverse fixture, when Pep Guardiola's men cruised to a comfortable 4-0 victory. City have failed to win their last two games, after playing out successive 1-1 draws against Nottingham Forest and RB Leipzig, but have lost only one of their last eight in all competitions. The visitors' recent form on the road has been below their best, as they have failed to win five of their last six away from home; conceding at least one goal in each of their last five. After Arsenal beat Leicester City earlier today, the champions are now five points behind the league leaders in second place.
BOURNEMOUTH (5-4-1): Neto; Adam Smith, Chris Mepham, Jack Stephens, Marcos Senesi, Jordan Zemura; Dango Ouattara, Jefferson Lerma, Philip Billing, Hamed Traore; Dominic Solanke.
SUBS: Mark Travers, Darren Randolph, Jack Stacey, Ryan Christie, Antoine Semenyo, Joe Rothwell, Ryan Fredericks, Jaidon Anthony, Kieffer Moore.
MANCHESTER CITY (4-2-3-1): Ederson; Rico Lewis, Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake; Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan; Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez, Jack Grealish; Erling Haaland.
SUBS: Stefan Ortega, Scott Carson, Kalvin Phillips, Bernardo Silva, Scott Carson, Sergio Gomez, Kyle Walker, Maximo Perrone, Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez.
The players are out on the pitch at the Vitality Stadium, and kick-off is now just moments away!
Not only are Manchester City unbeaten in their last 35 Premier League matches when leading at half-time - going on to win 32 times in the process - but the size of their lead today suggests that they can ease of the gas a little after the break. Will Guardiola replace some of his star men, with a packed spring schedule lying ahead?
After posting the club's 200th Premier League away victory this weekend, Manchester City make the trip to Bristol City in the FA Cup on Tuesday, before hosting Newcastle United next week. Bournemouth's life hardly gets any easier in the coming days, as they start March by tackling Arsenal and Liverpool.
That's all from the Vitality Stadium today, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
