BAYERN BAG A FIFTH! It's 5-2 to the champions, and that's surely game over! A perceptive ball from the right side of the box by Joao Cancelo picks out the run of his opposite wing-back, Davies.
72'
M. Tel enters the game and replaces S. Mané.
Mane's first start for several months has gone fairly well for the Bayern striker, but he now makes way for young Tel.

Nagelsmann makes his first two changes. Gnabry is withdrawn first of all, with Muller on as his replacement.

52'
Mane gets it all wrong when presented with a chance to shoot by Davies, as he takes aim at the latter's cutback first time and mishits the ball harmlessly wide of the target.
50'
Though Mane guides the ball home neatly from just inside the area, his joy is immediately cut short when the flag goes up to indicate he was offside. It was a close call, but the right one.

35'
B. Pavard has scored a goal for Bayern Munich!
PAVARD POACHES ANOTHER! Bayern extend their advantage! Capitalising on a period of pressure, the hosts earn a corner, which is taken from the right by Kimmich. His cross is headed down by De Ligt, then breaks for Pavard 10 yards out. The Frenchman coolly hitch-kicks the ball past a helpless Gikiewicz and into the bottom-left corner: 3-1!
33'
Perhaps ill-advisedly, Sane tries his luck from distance, only to see his wild effort rise well over the crossbar, bringing groans from the home fans.
32'
Sommer is hardly troubled by a tame Maier shot from the edge of the area, which the Swiss keeper saves in the bottom-left corner of his goal.

The ball bobbles into Engels' path 25 yards out, and he can't resist a crack at goal, which merely trundles well wide of the right-hand post due to his failure to connect properly.

Mane athletically turns the ball back into the danger area, for Pavard to pounce.
BAYERN GO IN FRONT! All of a sudden it's 2-1 to Der Rekordmeister! Augsburg fail to clear Kimmich's free-kick from the right flank, and when Mane spectacularly flicks the ball back into the six-yard box, Pavard is on hand to force it into the net from close range!

João Cancelo has scored a goal for Bayern Munich! Assist by L. Sané.
Sane plays the ball out wide for Cancelo, who does the rest after receiving the ball on the right side of the area.
BAYERN PULL LEVEL! The champions didn't trail for long: an emphatic finish from Joao Cancelo, who turned his marker inside and out on the right side of the box before pulling the trigger, makes it 1-1! The wing-back received the ball from Sane initially, but it was a superb individual effort for his first Bundesliga goal!
13'
To a chorus of jeers and whistles, the referee turns down an appeal for a Bayern free-kick, then after the hosts have reclaimed the ball, Gnabry picks up the ball on the left. He jinks inside to tee up a 20-yard shot but sends it spiralling over the crossbar.
11'
SAVE! Gikiewicz makes a sharp stop at his near post, after Musiala squeezes in a shot from a tight angle near the left byline, having been played in by Davies. Soon after, the flag goes up to indicate a marginal offside in any case.
8'
After Musiala springs a counter-attack through the centre, his ball reaches Gnabry on the right. However, the latter's attempt to pick out Sane, who is charging through the middle towards the area, lacks accuracy and the move breaks down.
6'
Gikiewicz makes a routine save in the centre of his goal, after Cancelo receives the ball from Sane on the right side of the box and then fails to fully catch his low shot.
2'
M. Berisha has scored a goal for Augsburg!
AUGSBURG LEAD! They've done it again! Augsburg strike first against Bayern - and it's that man Berisha! Capping off some early pressure, the visitors benefit from a game of head-tennis on the edge of the Bayern box, as the ball drops to their striker, who turns his man neatly and slots the ball past Sommer into the bottom-right corner!
1'
After a short delay for Sommer's goal-net to be repaired, Augsburg kick off and we are under way in Munich!
A long throw-in from Gumny is flicked on in the area, forcing Bayern to concede an early corner. From the inswinging set-piece, Sommer is required to punch the ball clear to safety from next to his near post.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of today's Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Augsburg at the Allianz Arena!
Aiming to stay ahead of their nearest title rivals by picking up more points today, Bayern Munich lead the Bundesliga by virtue of goal difference ahead of Borussia Dortmund. Victory against Stuttgart last week took Julian Nagelsmann's side back above BVB by the slenderest of margins, and the latter will play later on today, meeting Schalke 04 in the Revierderby. Bayern beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 on Wednesday to reach the last eight of the Champions League, and must now tackle their regional rivals.
Augsburg's Bavaria-born striker Mergim Berisha scored the winner when they last faced Bayern in the Bundesliga - a rare success against their more illustrious neighbours. Die Fuggerstadter's coach Enrico Maassen recorded his first home win in September's reverse fixture, and more recently, a 2-1 success against Werder Bremen last week took his team eight points clear of the relegation zone. Ahead of today's game, Augsburg may have won all four of their home games in 2023 but have lost all four on the road.

The players are out on the pitch in the Bavarian sunshine, and kick-off is now just moments away!
While Bayern are unbeaten in their last 85 Bundesliga matches when leading at half-time, dating back to February 2019, Augsburg have a record of W0, D1, L3 when trailing at the interval this season. That sums up the size of the visitors' task during the second half.
That's all from Munich today, so thank you for joining us and goodbye!
Bayern have the rare luxury of a week free of fixtures before tackling Leverkusen next time out, while Schalke will be Augsburg's next opponents.
