Minute
Description

The away side looked to be in a promising situation down the left flank with Jota, Jimenez and Neto all drifting over to that side, but the disciplined nature of Olympiacos’ defence forces Wolves into playing back towards their own goal.

Traore plays a perfect cross-field pass over to the left for Vinagre who looks to be caught by Elabdellaoui. The referee is well placed to wave play on despite protests from the Wolves players.

GOAL! Wolves are level! From the resulting set-piece, Moutinho lays the ball off for Neto who sees his low strike from range deflect off Bouchalakis and into the back of the net with Sa wrongfooted. 1-1.
It was a clever free-kick routine from Wolves and Moutinho’s lay off was expertly weighted for Neto to attack, and, with a slice of luck, the visitors have their equaliser.
66'
Bouchalakis goes in late on Jota and Wolves are awarded a free-kick in a dangerous position just outside the penalty area.

54'
Y. El-Arabi has scored a goal for Olympiakos! Assist by Guilherme.
GOAL! The home side take the lead! Camara does extremely well down the right flank to hold up the ball and wait for support, before sliding it inside for Guilherme who skips beyond Saiss. Having created a yard of space, the midfielder’s pull back from the right side of the box finds El-Arabi completely free in the box and the striker tucks the ball beyond Patricio. 1-0.
Despite having very little of the ball since the restart, the home side have demonstrated their ruthlessness with that clinical attacking move. Guilherme’s late arrival into the area took the Wolves defence by surprise, before he played an inch-perfect ball across the box for El-Arabi, who simply could not miss.
52'
El-Arabi does well to win a foul from Moutinho on the halfway line and get the hosts further up the field.

Wolves make an attacking change at the break with Neto coming on for the second half in place of Doherty.
We are back underway! Turpin, the referee, blows his whistle to signal the start of the second half and Wolves get us kicked off.

The visitors are pressing the Olympiacos defence at every opportunity now as they look to make their man advantage count. The hosts, however, are continuing to keep the ball well and play between the lines.
38'
C. Coady gets yellow.
Coady is shown a yellow card after cynically bringing down Valbuena on the halfway line after the Frenchman cleverly knocked the ball beyond the Wolves captain.
37'
Semedo's red card after 28 minutes was the fifth fastest to be shown in the Europa League this season.
35'
Vinagre picks the ball up on the edge of the box after Olympiacos failed to adequately clear Doherty’s cross from the opposite flank and fires a driven shot over the bar.
34'
P. Cissé enters the game and replaces G. Masouras.
Following the red card to Semedo, Cisse comes onto the field in place of Masouras as Martins looks to bring on a natural defender to play next to Ba.
32'
Guilherme has now tucked in alongside Ba to ensure that the hosts continue playing with a back four.
30'
Neves steps up to take the resulting free-kick and it deflects behind for a corner which Sa is able to punch to safety.
28'
Rúben Semedo goes off after a red card!
RED CARD! Semedo is shown a straight red card! Wolves launch a quick counter which results in Jota knocking the ball beyond the Olympiacos defender on the edge of the box before going down after being caught late by Semedo, who was the last man. The home side are down to 10 men.
27'

25'

23'
Camara drags a right-footed effort from distance straight at Patricio who is able to make a simple save.
21'
The visitors are enjoying their best spell of possession at present as they begin to get a foothold in the game. Boly looks to play a long, searching pass over to the left flank for Jota, but Elabdellaoui is able to cut it out.
19'
Vinagre takes on Elabdellaoui down the left side of the field and wins a corner for Wolves. Moutinho plays it short before Valbuena makes a well-timed interception to reclaim possession for the hosts.
17'
Camara looks to play a quick one-two with Elabdellaoui down the right flank, but Neves is quickly in to intercept the attempted pass.
15'
Wolves are still struggling to get on the ball and play their natural game as Olympiacos continue to probe from deep.
13'
Tsimikas finds himself in space down the left flank and floats a dangerous cross into the centre of the Wolves area. Coady just manages to get across to divert Masouras' header behind for a corner. The resulting set-piece comes to nothing.

7'
Valbuena takes the set-piece and sends it deep into the box. Doherty gets his head to the initial delivery before Traore is able to hook the loose ball to safety.
6'
Valbuena is caught by Saiss’ arm and Martin’s side are awarded a free-kick down the right-hand side of the field.
4'
Moutinho’s pass down the left looking to pick out Jota is overhit and runs out for a throw-in to Olympiacos.
3'
The home side have started brightly and are working the ball around neatly on the halfway line as they look to patiently force an early opening. Guilherme attempts to float a pass down the right flank for Elabdellaoui, but the full-back is flagged as offside by the referee’s assistant.
1'
Kick off! The referee, Clement Turpin, blows his whistle and Olympiacos get the game underway.
Hello and welcome to live match coverage of the Europa League last-16 first leg between Olympiacos and Wolves at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.
Having lost their most recent domestic fixture 3-2 against PAOK in the first leg of the Greek Cup semi-final, the home side will be seeking to bounce back and return to winning ways. Wolves, meanwhile, come into this clash looking to build on their 0-0 draw with Brighton last time out in the Premier League.
OLYMPIACOS SUBS: Bobby Allain, Pape Abou Cisse, Vasilis Torosidis, Bruno Gaspar, Lazar Randjelovic, Konstantinos Fortounis, Maximiliano Lovera.
WOLVES SUBS: John Ruddy, Maximilian Kilman, Oskar Buur, Leander Dendoncker, Bruno Jordao, Pedro Neto, Daniel Podence.
Olympiacos, who booked their place in the last-16 with an extra-time winner against Arsenal in the last round, have lost only two of their previous 12 matches in all competitions. Pedro Martins’ side will, however, be hoping to better their home result against the Gunners, where they suffered a 1-0 defeat. Wolves, on the other hand, have failed to win either of their last two away matches in the Europa League, conceding six goals in that time. Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking for his team to return to winning ways, having won four of their last six European matches, losing only to Espanyol.
The teams are out, and kick-off will soon be upon us here at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.
Having seen his side start so positively, Martins will be disappointed that his team have been reduced to 10 men and ended the half on the defensive. Valbuena has looked the most likely to make something happen for the hosts and will be crucial if they are to grab a goal after the restart. Espirito Santo, meanwhile, will be hoping for a little more creativity after the break having seen his team fail to really test Sa. Traore grew into the game as the half went on and, if Wolves are to get the breakthrough, he will likely be at the heart of it.
That brings an end to our coverage of the Europa League last-16 first leg between Olympiacos and Wolves at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
Before these two sides meet again in a week’s time for the second leg, Olympiacos host PAOK for the concluding match of their semi-final tie in the Greek Cup, while Wolves travel to face West Ham in the Premier League.
